  • What are Dr. Burke's COVID-19 procedures?
    Dr. Burke takes health and safety precautions very seriously. To ensure patient safety and peace of mind, Dr. Burke regularly and thoroughly sanitizes all surfaces before and after each use. Additionally, anyone entering Burke Chiropractic must wear a mask at all times. Dr. Burke also asks that anyone feeling sick or showing symptoms to please stay home.
  • What is a chiropractic adjustment?
    A chiropractic adjustment uses a specific, controlled force in a precise direction that is applied to a spinal joint that is not moving properly or “locked up.” This action is typically performed with the doctor's hands or an instrument, called an activator.
  • What conditions can chiropractic help treat?
    Chiropractic can help a variety of conditions including: - Back pain - Neck pain - Auto accident injuries (whiplash, lower back pain, etc.) - Migraines - Herniated and slipped discs - Sports injuries - Sciatica - General discomfort - Muscle, joint, and ligament pains
  • Who can get chiropractic treatments?
    Chiropractic adjustments are suitable for a variety of people including: - auto accident patients - migraine sufferers - children and babies - expecting moms and new mothers - geriatric patients - routine care and general wellness patients - sports injury patients - patients with back, neck, muscle, and joint pains
  • What is the goal of chiropractic care?
    The goal of chiropractic care is to provide a drug-free and non-invasive treatment for pain reduction, improve spinal function, and promote general wellness. This is done by correcting spinal alignment in order to eliminate issues that may interfere with proper function of the nervous system.
  • Do you need a referral from an M.D. to book at Burke Chiropractic?
    No, you do not need a referral from an M.D. to get chiropractic care from Burke Chiropractic. Dr. Burke has affordable self-pay and accepts most major insurances for a convenient visit whenever the patient wants.
  • Is Burke Chiopractic open on Saturdays?
    Saturdays are open until 1:00 pm for appointment bookings only. Please contact Dr. Burke if you are in need of assisstance on Saturdays.
  • Is insurance required to book an appointment at Burke Chiropractic?
    Insurance is not required in order to book an appointment. Burke Chiropractic offers an afforadable self-pay option for patients in addition to accepting most major insuarnces.
  • What chiropractic techniques does Dr. Burke use?
    Dr. Burke typically uses the diversified, drop, and activator techniques in his practice.
  • What is that popping noise ?
    The popping or cracking sound that you might hear is a safe release of air from between the joints.
